Seems So Unromantic is my fourth CD. It’s a mixed bag of topics running from love to social justice issues to mental health awareness. Tom Eure produced, engineered, mixed and mastered this CD. He also played Electric, Acoustic, Tenor and Bass Guitars, Violin, Tenor Viola, Mandolin, Banjo, Keyboards, Drums/Percussion and sang Backup Vocals. Amelia Osborne added her superb voice to a number of the songs while also playing Bodhrán and Zills. This has been an absolute labor of love and I want to thank Tom and Amelia not only for their wonderful work but also their much cherished friendship. The beautiful cover art on the CD of the old abandoned house amongst the trees was painted by Dalia Widis (my lovely wife).

This third CD combines some melodies I wrote long ago along with some new ones. I got a little more introspective on this one and also a little sillier here and there. But that's me. Tom Eure produced, engineered and mixed this album while playing multiple instruments and singing great harmonies. Many thanks to Tom for all his dedication and hard work in putting this together. And I also want to thank Amelia Osborne who sang so beautifully. Finally, I want to give credit to Dave Harris from Studio B Mastering who did such a great job with the mastering. All these folks I've mentioned above are not only extremely talented but also wonderful people and that made making this CD a great joy.

I Can't Play It Cool

Ken Widis

This is my second CD. These songs have a folk and country feel to them. It’s been about seven years since the first one. I’ve had a bunch of tunes and lyrics running around in my head since then but I just couldn’t get them to settle down, until now. I’ve had a bunch of tunes and lyrics running around in my head since then but I just couldn’t get them to settle down, until now. The songs in this collection cover a wide range of emotions and subjects. There’s a country bent to the music but I believe I’m a folksinger at heart. Of course one of the songs is called “Whole Lotta Rock and Roll” so I should probably give up on all this labeling. Many thanks to Tom Eure who not only recorded and engineered all the songs, but also sang harmony and played various instruments throughout the CD.

That's The Reason

Ken Widis

Melodic and heartfelt and a little rough around the edges.

This is my first CD and I want to truly thank all the good people who participated in its production. Many thanks to the multi-talented Tom Eure who produced this CD. I would say that my music is somewhere between Country and Americana. I hope you enjoy it.
